We have a family in Pasadena looking for a reliable nanny / manny to oversea their child’s integration into a local after school kids club. The hours would be roughly 2:30-6, Monday through Friday, paying $20/ hour.
Their boy is 9 years old and suffers from mild ADHD, caregivers with some knowledge of ADHD are preferred but not required. The reason this position exists is because he used to attend the kids club but there were times when he would not listen to the staff and run away, distracting the staff members from the other children. After a few months of working on his behaviors, they are willing to let him back in so long as a monitor can join him and step in if needed.
Although you will be working for the family, you will most likely wear a kids club tee so that it doesn’t draw attention to the fact that their son doesn’t have his own VIP aide.
Because you will be in a childcare setting, their are extra checks that are needed, interviews are starting now and looking to bring someone in ASAP.

Caregiver must have Caregiver must have copy of their Immunization shots: Tdap, MMR, Hep B, Flu shot or Flu waiver Caregiver must hold a current CPR, First Aid/AED Certificate Caregiver must have professional child care experience (including 2 years of professional nanny experience)
