We are eager to begin the search for our power mom client who needs an intuitive, caring, and firm handed manny for her teenage boy. This full time position requires excellent instincts, executive functioning skills, and with mom working full time, the ability to lead by example when you are the only adult present.

In the day to day routine of this 40 hour a week position, you can expect to be a driver, (car provided) to and from school and activities, keep him on track with homework, light food preparation, run errands, and assist with walking their adorable Portuguese water dogs. Your instincts need be on point in this role – the mom would love her son to benefit learning from trial and error. Micro managers need not apply, but someone with the ability to read the situation and re-direct only when needed will thrive. In addition to being a stellar manny and family assistant, you’ll need to act as a role model, and a mentor to bring him into adulthood. A person who is flexible, calm, and unafraid to be stern is truly what we are searching for with this family. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required, with plenty of advance notice provided.

This is a fantastic role with big shoes to fill – we are seeking a replacement for their previous nanny who was with the family for 17 years! Pay is $20-$25 per hour and dependent on experience, with a guarantee of 40 hours per week.

Caregiver must have experience with 10-14 year olds, boys and girls.
Caregiver must be fluent in scheduling and communicating with parents and assistants
Caregiver must be aged 21+
Caregiver must be Fluent in English
Caregiver must be able to make at least a 1-year commitment to the family
Caregiver must be able to drive and have a car
Caregiver must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident
Caregiver must have outstanding references
Caregiver must be willing to complete TrustLine Registration upon hire (incurred fee paid by us)
Caregiver must have a clean criminal record and motor vehicle record
Caregiver must hold a current CPR, First Aid/AED Certificate (or complete upon hire)
Caregiver must have professional child care experience (including 3 years of professional nanny experience)
