A wonderfully funny family in Echo Park are looking for a nanny for their adorable 20 month old girl. They are traveling to Calgary for 2 months in August and would like to take their new nanny with them, at least for a month, maybe more.
The schedule would require flexibility, and would typically be 10-5 Monday-Thursday and 2-9 Friday (date night). They would also like someone that could possibly help out a few hours over the weekend, but not a deal breaker. They are looking for someone that can assist with potty training as they are reaching that stage. They also have a cat so anyone with cat allergies, stay away!
Their ideal nanny would be someone that can educate them on developmental milestones, become a member of the family and really be a wealth of knowledge to the parents, someone devoted to childcare and not just looking to pay some bills until their true dream picks; up a true childcare professional. Being able to travel for a few months at a time is important, both parents are actors. Experience in Montessori schooling is a huge plus, as is someone who is super active, intuitive, and knowledgable on healthy eating habits.
There will also be basic assistant duties to ensure the household is running smoothly.
They are looking to pay $22.50 an hour and are offering guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation and major holidays off, a passport is needed to travel with them when the shoot on location.
A nanny that will dote on their pride and joy, keep professional and ahead of the game will be the key to the family dynamic!
