A wonderful family in Hollywood (bottom of Runyon) is seeking an experienced full-time Nanny / Family Assistant for their three active school age girls, 5, 6 and 10. Parents are in the film industry and are looking for someone who can assist with all manner of responsibilities and really hit the ground running.
The schedule is roughly 12p-9p Monday through Friday.
Pay is up to $30 per hour and includes sick, health and vacation benefits. A nanny car will be provided.
This is a long term, live-out position. Ideally the Family Assistant is flexible and can help with the family’s schedules, able to maybe come in a little earlier or stay later on certain evenings, or work longer hours if the children have a day off school; with plenty of notice given of course. Plenty of opportunity for overtime and the parents are looking for a ‘no problem too big’ mindset. The ideal candidate has ample experience working with multiple children and be dog friendly. An additional language is a major plus but not required. This position may require international travel so the nanny must have a passport.
The best fit for this family is an intelligent problem solver and excellent communicator, by text and email. Someone who doesn’t bring drama into the house and has a can-do attitude. High-profile experience and knowledge is important, as discretion and confidentiality is key when dealing with the families medical, financial and personal records.
The girls are very smart, very active and very sweet.
The Family Assistant needs to have strong boundaries and good structure. Meal prep and meal planning is also important. Typical duties include most home related tasks- grocery shopping, meal planning, car washes and maintenance checks, school pick-ups, organizing household maintenance, sorting clothes for donation etc. They have a housekeeper so laundry, excessive cleaning etc is not necessary.
Being autonomous, proactive and enthusiastic is key, this family is fantastic for a kind, genuine, professional person.
Caregiver must be aged 21+
Caregiver must be Fluent in English
Caregiver must be able to make at least a 1-year commitment to the family
Caregiver must be able to drive
Caregiver must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident
Caregiver must have outstanding references
Caregiver must be willing to complete TrustLine Registration upon hire
Caregiver must have a clean criminal record and motor vehicle record
Caregiver must hold a current CPR, First Aid/AED Certificate (or complete upon hire)
Caregiver must have professional child care experience (including 3 years of professional nanny experience)
