Family Assistant Needed in NY

Busy Family with two working parents, four nearly grown kids and two dogs in Locust Valley, NY seek a Personal / Executive Assistant to assist in keeping their homes and lives running efficiently.
Heavy calendaring, scheduling staff and vendors, family gifting, event planning, travel planning, overseeing workmen, getting the kid’s school forms filled out, gift buying, event planning, bill paying, staff and vendor scheduling, supervising projects and workmen in the home and other various duties to keep the family on track.

Must be a team player who is happy to pitch in with other staff the family employs and the principals’ office EAs to see that the needs of the family are met.

The right candidate is tech-savvy, energetic, lives in a commutable distance to Locust Valley with reliable transportation and has about 5-10 years experience in a similar role.
An average week will be between 30-40 hours. Some support in the Hamptons during the summer is necessary and occasional work in the wife’s office in Manhattan may be required.

Those with no prior experience as an executive or personal assistant need not apply. Those with a college degree, in addition to the required experience, will get first consideration.

Caregiver must be aged 21+
Caregiver must be Fluent in English
Caregiver must be able to drive and have own vehicle
Caregiver must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Caregiver must have outstanding references
Caregiver must have a clean criminal record and motor vehicle record
